Since 2024 we have looked after small and medium-sized businesses in Saxony and across Germany: business automation, AI integration, managed IT, and backup, run personally by the founder.
Who's behind it
BackupExperts was founded in 2024 by Ananda Bhatta, a trained IT systems integrator focused on backup, IT security, and infrastructure. The reason was a pattern he kept seeing: many small and medium-sized businesses are poorly positioned on data protection and IT security, often without knowing it. The problem usually only becomes visible once a server fails, a ransomware email gets through, or a backup refuses to restore. That is exactly where we step in, before something goes wrong.
With us, you work directly with the founder, not a ticket system or a call center. You always talk to the person who built and maintains your infrastructure day to day. That means short paths, fast response times, and solutions that fit your business instead of coming off the shelf. We think long term: rather than one-off jobs, we take over the ongoing operation of your IT and keep developing it with you.
Our infrastructure runs on on-premise servers, in Hetzner data centers in Germany and Finland, and in Microsoft 365. Your data stays in the EU, GDPR-compliant and under direct control. For backups we rely on Veeam and the proven 3-2-1 strategy, for security on Wazuh, EDR, and network segmentation. We build automations with custom code and workflow tools like n8n, and manage our systems reproducibly as infrastructure as code with Terraform.
