What is the 3-2-1 backup rule?

Three copies of your data, on two different media types, one of them off-site. We implement it with Veeam: locally on a NAS, in a German Hetzner data center, and optionally in the cloud as well. That keeps your data safe even in the event of ransomware, fire, or hardware failure.

How fast are we back online after an outage?

We aim for a recovery time under 15 minutes for critical systems. Using instant VM recovery, we start affected servers directly from the backup, so you keep working in minutes, not days.

Do you also back up Microsoft 365?

Yes. Microsoft 365 is replicated but not backed up in the traditional sense. We add a separate, versioned backup of your mailboxes and files, so even deleted or encrypted data stays recoverable.
